The CSI flying club is found at SAN GIULIANO VECCHIO - Loc. Ventolina. (the co-ordinates for satellite navigators are: 44° 54' 00'' North -  8° 43' 17'' South) The particularity of the runway is that the pavement is constructed with self blocking bricks made of recycled rubber and plastic.     The solution is innovative and ecologic and has called the attention of various Italian and foreign aero modelling clubs for it’s characteristics, functionality and convenience. Here are the advantages discovered: - They can be placed on ground dedicated to agriculture where it is not possible to tar and no permit is necessary.- The bricks are easy to lay (as any common self blocking brick). - In case the club is trasfered, the bricks can be removed and repositioned..- It is resistant to fuels, even Kerosene that normally melts tarmac.- Draining of water is excellent even after heavy rains. No water pools remain.- The cost for purchasing and placing the material is low.
